International Coordinator

 

Jane Furniss has been the International Coordinator of Micah Network since May 2004, when the position was created.

Prior to joining Micah Network, Jane worked as a lawyer for 7 years. Jane has also served on the boards of a number of Christian agencies (overseas aid, education and community services sectors).

Administrative Assistant

 

 

Anita Deutschmann joined Micah Network in March 2007.

She is the Administrative Assistant, working in the International Secretariat, with responsibilities in event logistics, communications and administration.

She is currently completing a Master of Public Health through the University of Melbourne.

Africa - Regional Coordinator

 

 

As African Regional Coordinator, John Wesley Kabango will be responsible for developing and convening workshops and other initiatives which meet members needs in the African region.

This will significantly increase Micah Network’s capacity to facilitate and coordinate initiatives within Africa.

South Asia - Regional Coordinator

 

 Rosy Neithem has recently been appointed to this position.

Latin America - Regional Coordinator

 

Ruth Alvarado has recently been appointed to this position.

Volunteers

We have a number of volunteer translators. Our French translators are Marion, Janet and Joanne (all based in Australia). Our Portuguese translators are Luiza (based in the UK), Tatiana (based in Brazil) and Sonia (based in Australia). We also have a Spanish translator, Percy (based in Australia).

We are also fortunate to have Ms Susan McGowan compiling resources on disability and development for the website. Susan is an occupational therapist based in Melbourne with a passionate interest in disability and development.
